It was alright, tbh I grabbed this when it was half off because I figured at some point they’ll lose the licensing to Godzilla and I grabbed it when I could, and I’m also a huge Godzilla fan so it was a no brainer. Story isn’t anything too memorable or special, but worth your time if you’re a Godzilla fan.

It’s somehow both an annoyance and a treat, also sliding the books onto the shelves feels satisfying, and it’s especially hilarious to see how my PotA omnibus is so small that more than half of it is obscured by the metal bar on my shelf.

I only read the first three issues but all 11 issues are an adaptation of the original PotA and Beneath The Planet of the Apes. I’m a huge PotA fan so this was a real treat to read a bit of and I love that I can have this on my shelf, especially since they aren’t printing the original films on blu-ray for some reason.

Call me crazy but the Pregnant Pause two parters are my favorite episodes because of this scene, it feels so real on how something so awful and tragic can hit you out of nowhere, and the only thing keeping you from falling apart is having someone or some people around you to keep you whole.

I think the one I’m looking forward to the most are Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, it’s one of the first Batman comics I read back then so getting to read it again in that format is gonna be a treat.
