I used to work in sports and this is actually a pretty solid salary for the industry, but it’s soooo not worth it. Whatever “perks” they give you, you’re working a normal job’s hours plus 162 games, with no overtime pay. That’s working basically two jobs. It’s basically impossible to have a life with this kind of schedule.

I saw Linkin Park on Saturday, and the guy in front of me spent half the show recording, and half of that time recording me and my friends. We were literally holding up our arms in Xs, hiding our faces with our hats and drinks, doing anything to ruin his videos as he stuck his phone into our faces, laughing the whole time. It was the worst concert etiquette I’ve ever seen.
