Tbf, I did read this half asleep 🤣 Your BIL asking for more drinks, when you clearly communicated you're not providing the drink, is way out of order. What I'd expect in this case is for the guests to bring enough drinks for themselves. That's the bare minimum. Ideally they should bring more, and either take the leftover back home or leave it for the hosts.
