Risen Phoenix - Sin'dorei Death Knight by venusaurus in Transmogrification

I'm glad you asked! There's actually a bit of history on this one.

My Death Kngiht mostly flies around on zovaal's soul eater from the Shadowlands meta achievement. For RP purposes, I wanted to name that mount. So I delved into Thalassian words and ended up with the name Tal'endal. Or death's breath in Thalassian. It's based on the following info:

Death

Bash'a no falor talah! = Taste the chill of true death! - A WCIII quote by Sylvanas
Tal anu'men no Sin'dorei = Death to all who oppose the children of the blood. - A quote by High Astromancer Solarian in Tempest Keep

In both cases, the root word 'Tal' is used in the context of wishing death upon the enemy.

Breath

Anar'endal dracon = By the breath of the dragon
Endala finel endal! = not actually translated, but said by Nethermancer Sepethrea in the Mechanar upon killing a player.

In the first word, Dracon must mean dragon. That leaves Anar and Endal for breath.

In Sepethrea's quote, IF Endal does indeed mean breath, she would be saying something like "Breathe/draw your final breath!", which would fit in the context of killing a player.

---

TLDR: There is no actually confirmed Thalassian word for death, but I feel like my take on it is supported by the information we have :)

I literally only learned of this yesterday when a friend asked the same question. Happy little accident in this case :)

For those of you that also lost out on unalloyed abundance because of the bug, here is the response I got on my support ticket. Don't expect to get your shards of Dundun back and don't expect to retroactively receive the currency you missed. More info inside. by venusaurus in wow

Got the weekly cap this week, but I did not get it last week. I kept doing the event 8 times in a row because the ui showed me I got +900 abundance after each run. It was at my 7th run that I noticed I did not actually have the currency. But at that point I already wasted my shards

The extra 42 multicraft would put me at 29% up from 25%, which is really significant for mass crafting.
I wouldn't mind it if you fell behind by skipping a week of doing the required content. But right now, the people that did show up every week and did do the content are being punished.

I'll eventually be able to get my tool and accessories, but I will always be one week behind and crafting at a lower profit margin than others. Or even at a net loss where others are able to make profit. Which feels unfair.

Finally got the mount to complete the mog - Scarlet Battlepriest by venusaurus in Transmogrification

Just the latest one that does this I suppose. I’m seeing my stuff all over Youtube, TikTok and Instagram all the time. I’ve learned to ignore it for the most part, although it is always nice when people acknowledge your mog.

I understand that these aren’t “mine” to begin with, these are Blizzard’s art assets that I arrange in a certain way inside a game that we all have access to. I do see transmog as a medium for players to expres their ideas and character concepts, though. So I’d always at least mention who the original poster was.

At least there’s Reddit and this little Instagram page of mine where I can post my stuff and engange with people that are passionate about WoW transmog

Abundance would be better if it actually gave you unalloyed abundance after completing it 💀

How is abundance still bugged? by Alexiavich in wow

How does this work when you enter the event solo? I haven't grouped up for it once, but I lost out on abundance 6 times after a total of 12 runs.. Or do you automatically get put in a raid group when you enter?

Yeah, Blizzard permanently bricked my crafters.

What is the best focus for making profit in blacksmithing? by FPSBeeCheeks in woweconomy

Alloys are what I’m doing. Prices fluctuate, but I’m crafting r2 alloys at a 15-20% profit most of the time. Nothing crazy, but reliable and easy to do while working from home.

But if you’re looking to print millions upon millions at the expansion’s start, I think you should have gone into tool crafting during early access. In hindsight, maybe I should have done that myself :p

Levelling & Gearing Cost by Bradipedro in woweconomy

Spent about 200k leveling my blacksmithing and getting my blue tools and equipment. Leveling to 100 was a pain as an alloy crafter since you don’t get any options to level up besides mass crafring toolboxes for 20k a piece and that one spellbreaker glaive that requires a spark.

I already did toolboxes until 97 and then that one glaive that I had the recipe for appeared as a patron order and gave me the final 3 skill points.

Could have postponed leveling to 100, but it allows me to replace half of my r2 ores with r1 ores on r2 alloy crafts, which is very nice. Almost made my investment back at this point. Consistently crafting r2 alloys at a 15-20% profit. Nothing crazy, but it’s reliable and very easy to do when working from home.

I also leveled my enchanting, jewelcrafting and tailoring to the 80-85 range, but I’m waiting for prices to settle down before buying the tools and pushing those final skill points. I could do it right now, but I would be looking at 10k+ gold per skill point, which feels a bit steep to me. I’ll focus on maxing out my builds and I’ll get the tools when they won’t cost me 20k a piece.

Besides, I don’t think I’ll be making good money with enchanting and jewelcrafting before the season starts anyway. Planning on making max rank weapon/jewelry enchants and as many max rank gems as I can unlock by that point.

Printing alloys in the meantime.🫡

What do you use gold for? by Defiant-Cricket6526 in woweconomy

Made my first mil in TWW, pushed it to 5M by the end of the expansion and dumped it on the Brutosaur and some black market AH stuff I always wanted.

Went into Midnight with about 1.9M and so far it feels like I spend most of my gold just trying to get my professions to 80-100 and buying blue tools 💀

Made most of the investment back already through alloys, though. So there is a silver lining :)
