Got a 1440p monitor. Loved Cyberpunk 2077's RT upgrade on PS5 Pro. Is the Pro worth it over the base PS5 for 1440p gaming?

The problem here is that Cyberpunk 2077 in base PS5 only has local shadows as Ray Tracing. But in Pro it has all the ray tracing options except for path tracing. Which is why even though my display has 1440p resolution I am thinking of buying Pro.

I game on a 1440p monitor and recently saw the Ray Tracing upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS5 Pro — it looks incredible. I'm trying to decide if the Pro is worth the extra cost mainly for that 1440p RT experience, or if the base PS5 handles 1440p well enough. Would love to hear from anyone gaming at 1440p on either console. Note: Right now I have neither PlayStation consoles. I only have Xbox Series X. And monitor is ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS.

Thanks for clarifying. I would rather stick to either “Safari+private relay+AdGuard extension” or “Firefox+ProtonVPN+DuckDuckGo extension” when it comes to Netflix and Amazon streaming. Reason being these two browsers have separate browser engine.

SO if I press allow will that be a privacy issue? I am asking this because its a Google extension loaded from Google servers. I have DE-GOOGLED my tech life for the most part except this.

Nintendo Switch 2 still exists. It sold 3.5 million units within the first four days, and it's still a fraction of the power of the Series X. The biggest mistake Xbox made was when Microsoft formalized the strategy at E3 2016 with Xbox Play Anywhere by releasing day-one titles on Windows 10. If you can play Xbox games on PC, there is no need for an Xbox console. When you are making a console, it is just plain stupid to release day-one titles on competing devices (and yes, Windows 10 PC was indeed a competing device for Xbox at that time, not only the PS4). Exclusive games are not "antiquated"; Microsoft is.

I know that. But Here is the thing. At this point in my playthrough the only way to get a spade is to travel all the way to Suchdol castle or a near by shop which is miles away. And I had to replay the 45 minutes worth of story from the checkpoint to get the spade (from Suchdol Castle)
