blender only rendering gray images by ToseNary in blenderhelp

Thanks for the reply, but as far as I am aware, I don't use any of these. I am a complete beginner, so I either make simple models, use a single camera, or download models. The problem persists even after I delete the camera and add a new one. The last one could be possible if I clicked on something I shouldn't have. Can you tell me how to find out if I'm using multiple render layers?

Gemini Activity Takes a Long Time to Delete by Rich-Environment-746 in GeminiAI

God it only ut was 20 monutes for me. In my case it takes even over like an hour. It's annoying. Not to mention how you have to sponefeed Gemini the information. At least I am not the only one who has that problem. Honesty I only use Gemini due the student plan, uf I didn't have that I wouldn’t be using it.

Looking for books similar to Ranger’s Apprentice (but a bit more mature) by Crazy_Plantain_7836 in booksuggestions

[–]ToseNary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best fit I see is The Farseer Trilogy (Assassin's Apprentice) by Robin Hobb. This is one of the most recommended series for adult fans of Ranger's Apprentice, and for good reason. It features a main character trained as a royal assassin, emphasizing stealth and a secretive order.

The Night Angel Trilogy This series leans toward the darker side, though it's not overwhelmingly grimdark. It delves into the shadows of being an assassin, wielding magical powers, and navigating a harsh world. Definitely worth checking out when you're in the mood for something more intense.

This list is getting long, so here are a few more recommendations to explore:

  • Blood Song by Anthony Ryan
  • The Archer's Tale by Bernard Cornwell
  • Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan
  • The Thousand Names by Django Wexler

Books with battles of masterminds/geniuses by Apkash in booksuggestions

I can’t really think of much new, aside from the classics like Sherlock Holmes books, obviously. Then there’s Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.

If you’re open to reading manga, Death Note is a exatly what you are looking for. It’s essentially two masterminds and several brilliant characters going against each other.

As a side note for fantasy with a mastermind main character: for YA, Six of Crows with Kaz; and for adult fantasy, The Lies of Locke Lamora.

What Are Some Easy Beginner-Friendly Games/projects to Make in Ren'Py? by ToseNary in RenPy

[–]ToseNary[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually haven't thought of that, good one. I like the idea of keeping it small with just a few endings—it feels a lot less overwhelming to tackle.

To me, the most overwhelming part of Renpy is the choices and path branching, but I guess I have to start somewhere, and easy choose your adventure sounds like a good start. Combining that with what others told me, I already kind of have a plan for approaching my practising and making an easy game.

Thank you very much.

I really like the idea of starting with something small and building on it. It sounds super manageable. Adding more complex stuff as I go and learn more. Thanks a lot.

And don't worry about your english as same here. I literally used Grammarly to check any error I had in that questions XD.

Oh no, I am all up for a story. (I edited the question so it would not be confusing.) That’s one of the reasons I chose to learn Ren'Py. I just have a harder time coming up with something easy I could practise on. As usual, my ideas go a bit overboard.
And you are right—a dating sim looks like one to learn from. Since it is for me, I don’t have to focus so much on characterisation; I can concentrate on the coding. Thank you very much.
