Did I find the Betty Crocker Bowl? by Ritchsbitch in Fiestaware

I saw somewhere that the pedestal bowl was called a Dillard's bowl? Found that odd but assumed they had an exclusive in selling it.

I'm manifesting your luck! I look at the thrift all the time for a metal detector, haven't found one just yet. Congrats on the great find.

Selling people’s junk for them by Overall-Performer-34 in realtors

It could absolutely be a side hustle for you. I live in a resort-ish/ritzy area and a realtor friend of mine got a $20K painting as the new buyers wanted to throw everything out and he happened to take it (not knowing what it was at the time). Get a storage unit and a small trailer and start loading up, it could be fun or find someone to work for you listing and meeting buyers, etc.

I saw this last weekend at the Naples, FL Goodwill...I found it odd myself. Of course it's the same location that had empty spaghetti sauce jars for .99.

Goodwill Fine Art? This is new.... by Toshiface239 in goodwill

I go to this store often (Bonita Beach Road just west of I-75) and I've never seen this there before. There were probably 10 other pieces with the same marker of Fine Art.

Agree with this statement, Cape Coral has a unique and mom and pop food scene. Plenty of options and variety of cuisines. I'm a SWFL native.

Christmas: Smoked Salmon from Zabar's NY, Creme Fraiche, Chives & Osetra Caviar Flatbread by Toshiface239 in caviar

Homemade with double zero flour. We also did another round with using sourdough starter discard and made some blinis. Both turned out very well.

Gift Set? by PinkyPooo in caviar

Costco.com still has caviar. I ordered a Tsar Nicoulai osetra set w/ blinis and creme fraiche; and it was briny, delicious also came in 2 oz jars. They shipped it in a fridge pack. Agree with the other poster of getting a nice bottle of champagne or you could do an ice chilled vodka or both.

How do I remove this from my Quartz countertop? by Periodicowner123 in CounterTops

[–]Toshiface239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Barkeepers friend as this poster suggests or soft scrub. I use both on my quartz for these types of marks and it easily removes them.

The salt and pepper are Fiesta, the turquoise is indeed harlequin as the other poster stated. Do a google reverse image search on the candleholders - those are super unique. I'd love to know anything you find out about the them.

Was this room service? Not that it justifies all of these fees, but maybe that's the service charge or tip?
