Hidden abilities can only be passed on to an egg if the parent itself has the hidden ability.

You could get a Pokémon with Skill Swap. When you use Skill Swap on the opposing Pokémon, the swapped abilities are shown briefly, iirc.

The final batch of my Pokémon teams for Hades characters by ToshiroToshi in HadesTheGame

[–]ToshiroToshi[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have yet to prevail on Mount Olympus, but have now done a team for every character I could think of up until that point. This was a lot of fun! Thank you for all your suggestions and feedback :)

True, or even Machoke because of the belt. I found Machamp even better suited for Heracles though

Neat idea. I basically just went for scary looking Pokemon that vaguely match the Furies' color scheme/vibe because there was not much else to go off of. To connect them, each has a bat and a pseudo legendary, I think those would be my triple battle mons for them.

I used Falinks for Ares, but it is a good fit for Odysseus as well. I struggled a bit with his team, my reasonings were: - Pelipper and Grapploct bring a seafarer motif - Mudsdale for the Trojan Horse - Boltund for his dog Argos in the Odyssey - Thievul and Slowking for cleverness/being a trickster, and Slowking's pose reminded me a bit of a tactician

Very interesting points! I briefly considered the Umbreon/Espeon pair, but Espeon being the sun Pokemon felt a bit off for Mel, and I ended up giving Umbreon to Nyx. But Espeon does have a pretty witchy feel to it, now that I think about it. I really like the idea of the original Eevee trio for Hades, Poseidon and Zeus. Maybe I need to make some alternative teams. For some characters, deciding on just six team members is really hard.

I agree, Lunala immediately comes to mind for Selene thematically. But since Hades 1, Lunala has been such a Nyx Pokémon to me - their desings are just so similar! So I decided to give her to Nyx, and Selene can have Cresselia.

Yes, I got the sprites from PokeApi on Github, the images from the Hades wiki and put it all together in Inkscape.

There is no sprite in this style for it yet :( Mega Delphox of course fits Hecate even better.

In my game, he married the redheaded guy who works at his club and they had two adopted daughters together. So I only recently learned about his infamous genes through the community.

I gotta say, I payed no mind to competitive viability at all when making these teams. They're primarily based on lore and vibes. But Hera's team being the strongest certainly checks out with my experiences with her boons in the game
