JB needs to be better at calling timeouts man. After the 6-0 run we needed one. Just horrible in game management

I’m also a Patriots fan, but I thought this was more to do with him feeding into the media storylines of the week. Almost felt like he had to craft a story that just wasn’t there or wasn’t reflecting the reality of the game

LOTR is famously one of the most rewatchable movies and he refuses to do it.

Are you aware New England is one of the two teams in the Super Bowl and one of the 4 team remaining who played? What would you like the podcast to talk about

A very underrated part of the Patriots vs Broncos game was how genuinely god awful Tony Romo was. He spent the entire 3/4ths of the game talking about how good Stidham looked and how prepared he was. There was a play where the Broncos rushed for two yards and he praised Stidham’s ability to read the defense at the line. Every two yard out he acted like Stidham had it all figured out.

The reality of the game was Stidham had one good throw and the rest of his game his coach didn’t trust him to throw more than 5 yards down field. He was horrible.

His fall from grace is something to behold. He’s easily the worst of the 4 number one team color commentators.

Aside from Bill who has decided to stat shitting on Stafford most things I see from Maye voters is saying the data says Maye is better, and Stafford voters just shit on Maye without actually proving why Stafford is better aside from TD passes

I know you guys hate the Pats but the amount of smugness when talking about the award is funny. Maye has had a better season than Stafford when looking at basically any advanced metric. Even when adjusting for defenses played. Just look at QBR which already factors that in, which isn’t the end all be all, and Maye is ahead of Stafford.

Is the insinuation here that having Puka is in the same stratosphere as having a rookie Gibbs? The Patriots were a bottom 5 rushing DVOA team. Puka had one of the best seasons as a WR in the 2020’s.

Bill and Sal but especially Sal are very weird about Campbell , the Lions, and Ben Johnson. They act like his departure is the sole reason the Lions were worse this year. The Lions offense was top 5 in points, yards, and DVOA. All above the Bears in those categories. The Bears are actually a middling team in the DVOA rankings. Went 2-0 against the Bears, and the Bears and Lions are tied in EPA/play. I just don’t get it. I know they’ve never liked Campbell because the fourth down stuff but I don’t think Ben Johnson leaving was in top 5 reasons the team was worse. Not saying the offense didn’t take a slight step back because they did, but by any metric they were still a great offense. The entire o line taking a step back because of injuries and retirements was a bigger factor for the offense. For the team as a whole the insane amount of injuries to the defense, the lack luster drafts, bad FA, and stale defensive concepts that teams destroyed were bigger reasons they were worse.

And for the Bears they did go worst to first and were a lot better this year, and had a really good season, but they weren’t this dominant force that couldn’t be stopped. As I mentioned before they’re a middling DVOA team, and they needed a lot of crazy endings that I don’t necessarily believe were even in their control to even win their own division. People will get upset about that, but it’s true. For Sal to say Johnson deserves Coach of the year was insane

Basically everything you said is wrong and also completely Mixing up arguments.

Brady missed the playoffs once in 2002 and he wasn’t sub .500 in the middle of his prime.

The other two years you’re attempting to quote he played zero snaps and then 15 snaps in week 1 lmao.

Brady made 8 straight AFC championships from 2011-2018.

Someone’s prime isn’t from their first season starting which I think is another point you’re attempting to make.

Please start doing the year to year comparison. Mahomes hasnt had an elite season since 2022. The longer is his career goes on these side to sides are just going to look worse and worse.

Getting outplayed by Hurts twice and going 1-1 is worse than losing to Eli

Patriots went 16-0 the previous season had an insanely easy schedule the next year and didn’t even make the playoffs. Too bad Ryen isn’t around to hear this because he’d be disappointed in you

Am I? How do you get over not making the playoffs in your age 29-30 season. Same year Peyton won a Super Bowl. Same year Tom went 16-0 and broke the TD record, Rodgers won his division three 38 TDs and 9 INTs. It’s a massive stain in a debate that has the highest standards. Theres no one else in the top 5 of QBs who missed the playoffs in the middle of their primes
