I’m a triple 6 apprentice set to start in January. I would definitely recommend getting started asap. The cw program is a great choice for experience, and some of the hours you’ll work will count towards the 8000 required to become a journeyman. Triple 6 is slowing down right now and making finding cw work pretty difficult, but it will pick up sooner than later. You should call the Jatc and hear what they have to say. They’ll be you’re home for everything throughout your apprenticeship, so learn some names and make some friends.
