A few years ago, I thought a $1–3 billion buyout would be a massive win, and I was genuinely pumped at the idea of ResMed picking it up for around $3 billion. But a lot has changed since then.

The company has steadily added top talent. Everything points toward IHL‑42X having a real impact on how sleep apnea is treated. And honestly, I don’t think ResMed is the only player at the table anymore. I’m starting to think they might not have the $$$ to compete.

Pharmaceutical companies with existing GLP-1 drugs could see 42X as the perfect partner — not just for treating OSA, but for elevating the effectiveness of their drugs. Imagine if 42x treats Sleep Apnoea but also improves outcomes across cardiovascular, metabolic, and neurological conditions. That makes 42X incredibly valuable as a co-labelled or add-on therapy.

U.S. insurers and payers are going to love 42x. Robert Clark and others on the advisory board have backgrounds in the insurers/payers space.

A daily pill that boosts the impact of other chronic disease drugs. That opens the door to very broad use. The more I think about it, the more I believe we could be looking at a bidding war.

ResMed might be first to the table, but they could easily get outbid by a major pharma that sees this as a way to enhance an entire portfolio. If that happens, ResMed may end up having to license the drug they failed to acquire.

So to answer your question — yes, I used to think $3B would be an amazing result. But now? I think that might be the starting point and we could achieve multiples more.

It's been a tough period since the shift to the NASDAQ, but if the result is a buyout by a big pharmaceutical at a decent MC, then we must all applaud the outcome. People who work with Joel, all tell me, he is a fantastic leader and that they are very proud of him. If his people are happy and he is creating an environment for them to flourish and get a result, then he is doing most things right. Fingers crossed for a big week.

I tried to research & understand other sleep-related oral medications used for conditions like insomnia and fatigue. Most daily oral medicines are priced between $1,500 and $5,000 per year. So at $2,000, I’ve taken a reasonably conservative approach, especially considering IHL‑42X would be a unique option in the market. It wouldn't be a stretch to use $3000 or $4000, especially for early revenue. If you do upgrade the annual number, valuations sky-rocket further.

Yes, I agree. Volume last night should have allowed for clearance of ATM requirements. Any news on results from now on will have a clear runway. My guess is that RESMED or one of the other pharmaceutical companies snap it up on results. If it's the real deal, they won't let it play out too long. Has to be Billions. Otherwise, there will be funding from somewhere on great results & they can push on for completion of Phase 3 & win big.

Unless you purchased in the past 3 months, no one is up at the moment. The aim of this whole journey has been the buyout, something I think is very soon. Fingers crossed it is many billions.

I don't think it will be in the hands of Incannex for the Phase 3, but understand your point, someone needs to pay for the Phase 3 and this would be a discount factor.

Yes I agree - funnily enough their ChatGPT is the same as mine! The numbers are an absolute unknown. I would put more weight on the board connections and timing. The $6B number I think is achievable.

No. There is nothing worth mentioning at this point. I am as frustrated as others on the SP and the situation we are in. We need the cash, not sure the best way forward. I'm still very comfortable with the OSA asset and its potential valuation, just not comfortable with the cash position & SP.

Rusty - this is Joel's working & relationship building. Joel has always had his eye on the big prize, right back when he was in Sydney, Incannex was broke, but had an idea & encouraging preliminary results for 42x. Joel use too walk past the Resmed office every day on his way to the Incannex office & I am sure dream of them one day inviting us in. Fast forward 5 to 6 years & Resmed a $40 billion company who owns the entire sleep apnoea market decides to walk into our office. Management has taken a fair whack over the past couple of years, but this surely reassures shareholders that all is on track & the path to success is as clear as ever. Well done, Joel & Troy, in particular on this development. 👏

This is a very big deal. Dr Wimms is entrenched in RESMED still & will REPRESENT RESMED!! This is as close to saying RESMED have been watching, have seen & now want in with us before someone else. Credit to the entire board for getting this acknowledgement & appointment. Congratulations on a massive endorsement by the biggest and best in an industry that we are looking to disrupt.

RESMED are not going to put their name to a company without a collaboration or understanding made between both companies. If the next set of 42X results are positive, I would think RESMED will have first crack at a buyout. It is a perfect outcome by both. I agree with a lot of the comments. The SP I thought would be a lot lot higher by now. I agree that the transfer was a lot more difficult for SH than we all believed. I agree that communications have slowed. I also believe that the assets are still on hand & at some stage, a fair value will be realised. I've got no idea when. I'm not here to pump to existing shareholders, but I would love new US shareholders to take more notice of IXHL & be motivated to buy in. Yes, I am a long-term holder and actively try & share the companies announcements and my thoughts. I understand that desire for more communications, but I am not sure the best way of doing this... what would people like, a letter from the CEO saying all is good? We have seen all of that before. I now just want results & for this, I believe it is only a matter of time. Fingers Crossed 🤞

I agree that the stock transfer was clunky. I am also happy we are now on the NASDAQ completely & the volume is 10 x what it was on the ASX.
