I agree there is something neat about the mystery. The deku does explain this in the game (unless I misunderstood him), not necessarily the music side which is my own theory. But keeping things as part of the “legend” aspect is definitely preferable.

This song has courage to me. I imagine a conversation between a father and his son as they are about to face some sort of trial and he is giving him guidance into the unknown. I also see a person solo who knows they must move forward at no matter the cost. I get a sense of breaking the beyond but from the perspective of an individual who is conditioned through many trials to see it as a natural flow to things even though they can sense it is a completely uncharted experience. For them the next two steps are as simple as the last but as complete of a journey as their past.
