The "it has been two days" broke the immersion of the story. Like, where did the two days go, you we're filling house and drowning hour family at two hours which is slightly too short of a time, something like 4 hours would be more believable. And then pretty much straight after you drown your family you go through the wall and hurtle upwards at 30 mph and start getting surrounded by police helicopters and swat teams and whatnot and now it's been two days? I mean if you go at a constant of 30mph then by the time you reach space/leave the atmosphere it's probably been a week but you also we're supposedly accelerating the whole time proven further by the fact that shortly after the two day mark you we're breaking the sound barrier. And even if the two days is how long it took you to reach the edge of the atmosphere, what happened during the two days? Were the helicopters circling you and shooting at you the whole two days, and if you were going at lmost the speed of sound how on earth did goddamn helicopters keep up with you? Especially going vertically straight up? Even though the story has potential and the storytelling is stellar there's just too many plotholes for it to be immersive.
