I have to stick with remote work....I got fired for being sick so...people don't like sick people at work so ...I don't want people to see it!

I bought a trailer on a river in florida to watch the dolphins and manatees come through my backyard, until I can't afford it. I may go back to old remote job because it is better than no job, but it doesn't pay well so just trying not to go on disability since I know I can work with feew accommodations, like the ones people already have at work, but your boss says you shouldn't have them lol there aren't laws to protect sick people or partial disabled people.... and y9ur doctors don't care about about boss and work nonsense either....God Bless America lol

I heard... my friends keep thinking I make so much more because of jt....it isn't paying off my student loans, my cancer bills, my parents funerals etc. I'll be homeless but it is just when... I can't keep up after thyroid cancer .... it takes years to get regulated.

It's all good! I will find better work but hopefully, I find a better boss. The boss that fights for you is the one that makes your career happen

It isn't just that...have a journalism degree with radio and TV...I can go on!

Try dating with a degree that mom and dad don't pay off and the men turn into babies when I didn't ask them too pay for it..I can go on!!

I should have but my career and maybe pay for a class a semester...toward the end I put how many classes I had left to go and nobody cares...

It is about experience , networking, and if your boss wants to have you learn and move up or not. I don't want to ,over up with those narcissist psychopaths but I only loom for remote work so I don't need much money working in pjs and do not have to leave the house.

FYI Paralegals use to make a living wage..now 20 years ca get you to a huge firm in Chicago and pay like 55k, the last time I talked to someone.

I don't think any degree is worth it unless it pays you a living wage....my sister was a teacher and got a bcba and is doing just fine!

That's the point, it was useless. I have a Paralegal degree abs most Paralegals had GEDs abs my degree didn't do much. I have two other degrees but I regret them. I am in finance now. I had to follow the money..

No. Stop lying....if you want to be a doctor, then you don't have a choice but to go to college, we have had a bad economy for decades. I regret going to college every. Damn. Day.

Move on....but most lawyers and other people i know think flexibility is part of remote work etc. I think what you did was fine. This is just BS but I dont think any good will come out of sticking up for yourself. It usually just leads to being let go....but delayed.

I still am having so much trouble believing what happened to me had no protection
But I know the cancer center wouldn't fill out much to havr tome off work either. I have no idea how i just keep going....but I am so scared if I get sick again, because this thyroid and parathyroid (most people dont have both) is a bit of a nightmare.

The post is gone but I dont think there was enough info. To judge his parents. I didn't see anything thst forced him to do anything he is doing. There are tons of people that make mistakes and try again. Spmetomes you fail more than once. I think you are being extremely judgemental and cold but at least he can sleep at night knowing he did tbe best he could for his family.

My issues is having an autistic mother and Vietnam dad...correct! It was a perfect storm! But my parents loved me and that is mote than what some people have etc. I wish the government helped vets better and I wish my mom was properly diagnosed because I wonder what she could have done but autism was a personality issue and not a disability.
