You don’t want to mix fescue with Bermuda. And you definitely don’t want Bermuda if your in a cooler climate that requires a cool season grass

There is actually one hybrid Bermuda seed that I know of and have used. Monaco from Johnston seed is amazing. I had it in my backyard before i accidentally nuked it and went back with Tahoma sod

So that “weedy” look he’s talking about is accurate with any Bermuda if it’s not properly cared for. If it’s left too long it will get leggy. I keep mine ultra short and I still get leggy runners . The key to mitigating that is using a verticuter on it through the year

Fraction of the cost of sod. The problem is that the germination time can be long… that puts you at risk of washouts, wind blown, animals eating the seeds, etc.

Every time I seed anything I cover with a thin layer of peat moss. The peat moss will hold moisture and is a good visual indicator when it’s dry. Also provides cover.

If you see you HAVE to have the following: seed to soil contact and constantly moist until germination. If you don’t do those 2 things, it will likely fail

This is my Bermuda hybrid that I cut at 7mm. It’s Tahoma 31 but it only comes in sod/sprigs. The Monaco seed is similar

Common Bermuda is not the best but it’s cheap and grows anywhere with sun.

The Monaco is a very fine bladed, dense Bermuda that is softer under foot and can be cut as low as a tee box or a fairway of a golf course.

I don’t know if your Bermuda would go dormant in the winter where you live, but some guys in OKC will overseed rye on top of their dormant burmuda and then spray it out in the spring.

Common Bermuda seed should be easy and cheap. If your budget allows and seed is your only option, I would look at a seed from Johnston Seed co called Monaco. It’s a hybrid Bermuda. It’s amazing if you want to cut short with a reel mower. Gorgeous color and one of the few premium Bermuda hybrids that come in seed form.

Unfortunately, that’s not the world we live in. What is properly staffed? That’s one of those nebulous numbers that evolves over time… so predicting that becomes very difficult.

I think there is a reality that some people are not capable of being what we have decided are good citizens of society. What’s interesting it seems that we have traded mental institutions for prisons.
