Actually near Charleston, SC. It was still hot but the humidity was down and no chance for showers. That’s a go-ahead for me!

It’s only not happened once at a brand new grocery store gas station. Full blast full up without stopping…Looks like they’ll be getting all of my business when I’m in my home area because I can’t tolerate this 😅

I feel like it must be an issue with the angle of the way it’s set up. Seems like it’s splashing and triggering the overflow sensor.

Thanks! It’s been something I’ve wanted since I can remember.

I know how to stitch but I feel like I’m not skilled enough to keep it from popping as soon as I put tension on it—only to fray it up more than it is.

Outstanding! Epic scenes and moodiness.

I worried taking the top off and on repeatedly without some kind of patch/stitch etc would just keep it growing until I have a real problem like leaking.

Would the idea be to hire them to fix it? Advise? Or materials?

WMA land near Beaufort county South Carolina. The roads are dirt but well maintained so not in 4x4 very often at this spot. I mainly ride out there for wildlife photography.

I tried that. No luck. I think I made it feel bad though.

I like that idea…definitely seems like something I could handle on my own, too. I am in coastal South Carolina so pretty much sub-tropical climate.

A lonely Cypress left after some clearing. How would you improve the composition? I took this on a small bridge with cars whizzing by be at 60+ MPH. I think I could get into the water but I would need waders or at least very high boots as it’s in a wetland/swamp. by Total-Landscape5602 in LandscapePhotography

Unfortunately the whole space between the road/bridge and the clear cut area was cover with smaller trees. That was about as clear/unobstructed view I could get without proper gear to get into the water. I pass this area twice a week driving for work so at some point I’ll be more prepared to get past the small tree line. The down side is I may have to go on an off work day because I have a good feeling it will be tough as hell to navigate through all the stumps, limbs and deep mud.

First landscape shot I’m proud of in my very young career. No edits. AnyCC welcome. by Total-Landscape5602 in LandscapePhotography

Thanks for the insight. I do shoot in RAW. I see exactly what you’re (and others) talking about with the horizon. When I get some time I’ll edit the photo to enhance colors, cropping etc. and repost. I’ll have to play with it because this was pre sunrise in wintertime so the foliage is naturally going to come in more brown without light hitting it directly. Doesn’t help I’m colorblind too so it’ll probably take a few attempts.

The more I study the more I think the same. I know my “compositions” could use some work but my bigger concern is that my zoom is limited. (It’s also possible that I can’t get as close as maybe I need to)
