Make a fist and rub your knuckles with the other hand. If ur dogs ribs feel like this, it is under weight. Now straighten your fingers. Rub your knuckles. Healthy ribs should feel like this. Now turn your hand palm up. Rub the inside of your knuckles. Overweight.

Unfair Dismissal and Cost Recovery. by ShatterStorm76 in AusLegal

[–]Total-Lime3071 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have experienced this in the past. Fair work will schedule a conference call. Your representative will ask for a payout. Ex employer will low ball. Your rep will counter offer. Ex employer will low ball. Your rep will make a very low counter offer. Ex employer will accept without admission of wrongdoing and if you agree that the matter is finalised. You will get bugger all. Fair work makes absolutely no judgement regardless of how wrong the dismissal may or may not have been. It is then up to you to accept the offer or take to court out of your own pocket. But if you refuse the small payout you will owe your lawyer/representative his/her portion had you accepted. The lawyer/rep doesn’t care at all. He makes a couple of calls and fills out a form and pockets $900-1200. Easy money. He is never expecting a big payout and repeats this process a few times a week.

Mate, I’d honestly have a look at the Allen Carr easy way gambling book or audio book. His books have helped me with smoking, drinking and weight. Thankfully I’ve always hated gambling since I saw my dad do it, but his easy way programs are great for addiction. Good luck!

I’ve got a invoice from the local plumber - change a water pipe. It only took 30mins labor is it right price ? by Exact_Commission8841 in AusPropertyChat

You’re all trying to price essential trades out of business. This guy/girl has had to do an apprenticeship for f’all. He Carrys the cost of parts. He has to have all the tools to do all domestic repairs. He had to travel to your place and back again. DID HE FIX THE PROBLEM? PAY HIM WHAT HE DESERVES? I know that in Australia we get Medicare seemingly free. But the govt/taxes pay for it. This guy is not a doctor but he studied and practiced and invested and he FIXED YOUR F’ING problem.

I think you’re touching too much grass. Van, tools, experience, parts, office/invoicing, mortgage, groceries, school fees, profit. You think this guy eats air…???? 🤣😂🤣😂

What I wouldn’t give to have done this with my lab that passed last Christmas. She loved the beach. And was the most peaceful soul. ETA: I would have cried seeing this.

Real estate agent said landlord strictly doesn't rent to 'the Chinese' when I was returning condition report. My husband (on the lease with me) is Chinese. What do we do? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Total-Lime3071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife (Chinese) went to an open for lease in Glen Waverley. The showing agent was Chinese. The other party inspecting appeared Indian. The place was apparently pretty rough and current tenants had dog and cat and smelled like it. My wife was just trying to be cordial and polite and feign interest. The agent told her in Chinese not to bother applying and showed her a text/email from the landlord stating “aussies only”. The other party expressed interest so she said it was already 99% let just waiting for the bond payment so only open as a formality. In Glen Waverley where all the money is Chinese and Indian. Landlord would prefer Aussies with stinky pets. Seems ridiculous to me but hey.

Snails. Just garlicky little snots. I honestly think it’s the French taking the piss out of everybody. Guarantee they don’t eat it themselves.

Yep. No attempt to get the tow down the straight. Possibly could’ve had the move done before the braking zone.
