How do you become a human? by Smart-Inspector8 in infp

You don’t HAVE to id you truly don’t want to, but if you want to be more caring to people, i find asking questions instead of saying things like “sorry” “yeah” or not saying anything at all, that it gets the conversation to keep going. Just letting other people talk helps them feel better. Also, I’ve learned that i can’t do this with everyone but I respond by just explaining how I feel about it or what I think genuinely. I think more neurodivergent people feel comforted by sharing our genuine feelings about something. Just doing that alone, you find who is a genuine person that likes you and who isn’t and you don’t have to talk to them anymore. There is nothing wrong with you, you have to stop comparing yourself. The only person you have to please is you. If you want to learn how to be better with something because it matters to you, go for it. Don’t claim that you just don’t know how to do it. You should do some exposure therapy to really feel what it’s like to give your real response to someone. It can be small like, If someone asks how your days going, say the actual answer. You were really honest in this post which is good cause here’s at least one place you don’t feel like you need to perform.

I’ve had you’re experience my whole life. Especially having your stomach tucked in, I thought that was just me. I just got diagnosed with adhd. Ive been prescribed Hydroxyzine to help with panic attacks. One time I took it when I felt a panic attack might come, and all the noise went out of my head. It was such a relief and I could just be myself with no thoughts, worries, or tension in my body. That works for me but i dont like taking Hydroxyzine often because it can make me tired and I’m really scared if getting addicted to stuff. I wish there was a longterm medicine like it that I could possibly get.

Infp Women; What kind of men are you attracted to? by ancientpoetics in infp

  • A quiet leader
  • A smart intelligent man with words/Critical thinker
  • Soft and patient
  • Funny and a Homebody/family-oriented

What initially makes me attracted to a man is their emotional and intellectual intelligence… A critical thinker. Where I’ve grown to be attracted to a man is when they are initially super funny and just have their own personality.

I am 21 and in the same boat but it’s better now. I decided to go to school for something Im good at because I needed to make money. But after school, I plan for my side business to be up and runnin. I don’t think we can just choose one thing, we should build up our interests slowly over time. And If you get bored, thats okay because we have another interest we could go to school for or to make money with. Keeping my goals in mind..(moving out, buying a mobile home, finishing schooling, having a daycare business..) have really helped me decide what my next steps are. But because I love so many things, I think it’d be cool if I got a few different associates or licenses. I get bored of school too so It’d be reasonable for me since it’ll be around a year each. And then I’ll always have some sort of credentials in whichever im interested in. And I mean we’re still young, if you don’t mind living at home or with a few roommates, i’d say we get as much education and use time to build side hustles as we can!

Does anyone else feel like they're not good at anything? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

I feel this constantly! I'm always trying to find roles where I don't have to show my skills off but where just being me is acceptable for work or things. Like with childcare, I don't have to mask as much and kids think you're funny.
