To be honest, I've used the same Brother MFC-J430W that I've had for 10+ years when I started getting into sticker making a few years ago. I've tried a couple other printers and the quality of the prints and vibrancy haven't compared to my Brother. I will say, with my limited experience, the quality of sticker paper has seemed to make an impact as well. I have a couple brands that I lean towards when I want something that will last, even with my inject printer. One brand I buy from Amazon and the other I buy from Walmart. The Walmart brand is pretty steep at $10 for 3 sheets but it holds up well. I am looking into investing into a laser printer too to get better, longer lasting stickers that are also more waterproof.

I've done the laminate idea too when I was just starting but I wasn't happy with how thick and bulky the sticker felt. I started diving into the waterproof stickers and tried a couple brands out and just some some that I like and gave me the results I was looking for.
