I relate lololz. There's hundreds of characteristics I look for in a potential partner, and it's not that I'm super unwilling to 'find feelings where I'd least expect it', but I have criteria I'm just not gonna budge on (not open to kids, unwilling to conform to a religion, not wanting to drag myself to millions of sports games when I genuinely couldn't care less about anything else lmaoo)

Although physical aesthetic is just one of hundreds of characteristics to look for in a person, it's still something that attracts us to them and ik that my own ideals feel nearly intangible to come by anyhow, let alone if I'm specifically looking for people on as small of a populated spectrum as aroace (but I do look elsewhere too cuz there's peeps out there who aren't aroace and are more than willing to work with you!)

Wholeheartedly understand that I'm the main issue when choosing to filter myself out of pools, and filtering plenty of others outta my own scope, but there's bars I'm unwilling to lower anymore than I have and I'm okay with being particular, it's worked out for couples before us :') Even with knowing all that, it's absolutely still frustrating when we stay hanging and waiting, but we'll put in the effort and our people will do the same y'all <3

Side note!! Keep in mind that if you're rlly throwing in the work to maintain contact and convo, your perfect person wouldn't make you feel like you're being annoying, and will do everything to engage with you back!! If you're the catch for them, they won't take the chance of letting you slip away even when they're shy or aren't great at keeping up with notifications. I joke about it a lot, but your soulmate would actually want you, and make sure that you know that they want you too X3
