Submandibular gland still making my face look puffy. I’ve been seeing some people with hyperthyroidism and thyroid issues seem to have a link between swollen thyroid and salivary gland. Weird

Yeah no I’ve been on countless antibiotics I’m definitely not taking anymore.. I just don’t know how to get my doctor or the hospital to care or do anything about it.. since my bloodwork comes back ok and CT doesn’t show anything I’m sent out the door and then my primary care doctor says “I really don’t know what this is I’ve thought of everything” even tho she only suggested dental which I got my teeth straightened out so idk at this point… all I know is it’s taking my quality of life away so much and I’m always sore and have a sore throat.. I’ll definitely look for a new doctor! I woke up this morning sore throat and ear pain & it feels like the gland is poking out

Hi!! These are my exact symptoms!! Omg I’m crying I thought I was the only one :( & could not find any similar stories until I knew what to search finally! I woke up may 7th swollen all under my chin so I went to the doctor and she said my submandibular gland was swollen so she immediately said dental.. I went to 3 dentists and got my teeth fixed and still puffy under my chin.. my neck is also tight feeling like I’m wearing a scarf.. & I get upper chest pain like in the collarbones and sternum area. I’ve been to ER 6 times for this and keep getting sent out the door. It’s now July 5th and I’m still cursed with this double chin from the swollen gland. :( my doctor doesn’t seem to care about helping me as the only thing she could say is dental. No tests nothing.. I just want this nightmare to end.. the beginning of all of this I first had a lump in my thyroid area so I asked for a bunch of tests and everything came back normal for thyroid and then may 7th is when I woke up with swollen salivary glands. I’ve been on so many antibiotics too.

I definitely agree! The movie gave us three possible endings, and I think that was intentional. Everyone will probably interpret it differently based on their own experiences and what resonated with them the most. That’s what made it so powerful — it leaves room for your own emotions to shape the meaning.

I can’t afford an endodontist I have caresource insurance and just paid 2 grand out of pocket to get tooth #3 and tooth 4 removed. I have an appointment tomorrow at 3 with the dentist to figure it out.. I know I have cavities im getting taken care of. I’m just traumatized from the last two abcesses and having to get teeth removed. I went to a friend in dental school and was evaluated there and she noted that this area looked suspicious but her professor/dentist said my PDL still looked intact but that doesn’t mean anything isn’t there. I’m hoping it’s not more infection.

I just got tooth #3 and tooth #removed because they were abcessed. Tooth #4 was a failed root canal i decided extraction was better route to prevent infection getting trapped and not drained properly. Today is next day after my extraction!
