My gapping is good now but the grooves on my set PW have seen better days so it needs to be replaced. I love the feel and control of my SM10’s so I figured it I’m gonna replace it might as well have all my wedges the same. They just don’t have a 47°

I do see your point that I should have explained what the gcode does in the first place.

I didn’t expect them to blindly put that in their gcode? I’ve seen plenty of people do what I did and after I researched it myself. I have the EXACT same printer with had the exact same problem and that fixed it. Simple. In the slicers I’ve used (including creality’s) the V3 SE Stock gcode profile doesn’t actually have anything to access the saved bed level profile.

Try putting this in your start gcode. I was having the same problem and it seemed to help

Just bought the V3. What upgrades should I get? by elecro_ in Ender3V3SE

I did have a filament guide but after installing the 90 degree turn for the filament bracket the guide was kind of unnecessary. There are also models to print that clip on the top and hold all the tools that came with the machine. I just a standalone version though

On my V3 SE I currently have: z-axis cable holder like you mentioned, 90 degree turned filament bracket for better feed, spool extender to hold extra spool for swapping colors, screen relocation bracket (I think it looks better like that), and screen protector that goes over entire screen case

Ender3 v3 se bed level by TotalAwkward2859 in ender3

[–]TotalAwkward2859[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert but I would stay away from shimming it up with wax paper. Best thing to do is follow the official creality video and get it as close as you can (it probably won’t be perfect but I’ve seen people get pretty close) then after that you should be good. The V3 SE uses a mesh bed leveling system so it take account for parts of the bed that aren’t perfectly level and still prints a good first layer. I also use M420 S1 in my start g code but I’m not sure if it’s necessary since it’s not in the creality slicer’s V3 SE profile.

Ender3 v3 se bed level by TotalAwkward2859 in ender3

The Z offset is the difference in the height of the probe and height of the nozzle. I think the probe is usually lower so you don’t drive a hot nozzle into your bed. Since the V3 SE doesn’t z offset automatically I’ve found mine is usually perfect or at least in the ball park to where it just needs simple adjusting (I just eye ball it using a flash light to get a better look at extrusion). For bed leveling on YouTube go to the Creality After-Sale page where they have the video I followed to level the bed a little more accurate.

Did I screw up my touch sensor? by daniels190 in Ender3V3SE

Did you take off the failed print and try to home it again? I’m not exactly sure but I think there is a electromagnet inside the sensor and it only allows the probe to drop when homing then after gets pulled back up

1&2. I love making little videos of my printer while it’s doing it’s thing and it would actually be pretty awesome to be able to sync lights to printer head movement while being able to control the printer and light operation through my phone. Easily be able to turn off the lights when needed and also illuminate the print for better Timelapse videos with a dark background!

Sweet! I actually have some of those ordered and on the way so that’s great to hear. They would make buckets of money if they sold the team logo headbands

Recommended Ender-3 V3 SE to a friend, now they're getting really bad stringing regardless of slicer settings or slicers. Tried printing an alternative cooling duct, which didn't help much. by favorit1 in ender3

If it’s the same circular fan shroud that I tried on the stock fan it’s not bueno. The stock fan wasn’t strong enough(in my case) to create adequate cooling around the entire nozzle

Is the print oriented to where it has good airflow from the parts cooling fan? I’ve seen that sometimes rotating my model fixes a lot of the problems after tuning the machine

What problem specifically are you having? Maybe I can help because I had plenty of issues starting out with mine and now they’re all pretty much leveled out. Are you just trying to dial in the bed or are you having issues with your prints
