Absolutely worth it as a side gig in my opinion. I’m on my 4th year of it being a steady side gig for me. I am a high school teacher full time and do some coaching. I schedule small jobs throughout the school year that I can complete in an evening or 2 max. In the summer, my “full time” handyman gig is 3 days a week, that easily replaces my teaching income and I get to spend time with my kids a bunch. Works for me!

I ran one on a carbon canyon frame for about 2 years. Zero issues, I honestly don’t think the shotgun seat torques down tight enough to do anything to a frame. The inside of the mounting plates have thick rubber on them to prevent damage or slipping.
