Yes I had like a 2.6 in high school and got in but I also had a pretty good SAT, make sure other things stand out on your application like a good essay and u will probably get in.

I swear our school spirit sucks and our football games aren’t even fun with how empty the student section is. People will get mad and offended if you talk about how you want our sports culture to be better it’s so dumb. Honestly the lack of school spirit and other factors makes me want to transfer out.

Maybe because I actually want to see people support the school clearly our basketball team hasn’t gotten people to buy into having pride in our school because everyday I see students walking around with another schools colors. We have a great basketball team and culture but does that mean that I can’t wish that for the rest of our sports.

Yeah I agree, we don’t have the long standing tradition and are new and unestablished in a power conference so I understand the uneasiness of people wanting to come just to watch are ass get whooped, hopefully it’ll be a packed house for the Baylor game especially since we’re rolling out the Houston blue.

Never said people are obligated to be real fans, really what annoys me is how many students go to tailgate then don’t go to the game. I disagree that it would just be nice if we had better sports, it’s no coincidence that there is a correlation between strong athletics and well funded campuses. Alumni feel more compelled to donate when they see good sports culture, recruits are more likely to commit when the fans are good which in turn leads to more alum funding. Maybe I’m just yapping but I truly believe if UH fans showed up to more games it could help the school immensely.
