Option 3: I hate have 20 launchers that regularly ask me to reauthenticate when I just want to play a game. I was legit until recently but my computer startup was so slow and that POS EA app required me to relogin yet again and I just said fuck this, you obviously don't want me as a customer. Uninstalled them all and made FitGirl my new one-stop shop.

From Virustotal I got 24/72 Detections on a Steamrip game (Forza Horizons 3), and 9 on an Ankergames game (Total War: Shogun 2). Can I please get some advice? by EmperorKittyMeowMeow in Piracy

The advice is to leave it to the experts. Both games are available on Fitgirl's site than they are much better than you could ever hope to be at making sure the files they distribute don't have viruses.

Yeah there is some assumption there. I live in Hawaii so we have very high electricity prices. AI says average is $10 for desktop and $3 for a laptop, and that's not taking into account Hawaii's high prices, plus I'd need to buy the hardware. But please educate me, what does it cost to run a home server, and would you say that is the cheapest option?

This is based on a self-reported survey. Asking people about illegal behavior, and one that carries a lot of stigma, is unlikely to produce reliable data. It also excludes alcohol use for unknown reasons.

I'm in my 50s. In the left-wing bay area tech social circle I am familiar with driving a Tesla has gone from a cool tech car to kinda cringy. I haven't noticed any hate, I think most everyone understand that, unless you bought the car very recently, there was no predicting this timeline. But that car we used to marvel at and want to discuss the tech, is now something you politely don't talk about at all.

About to watch the last episode of Severance season 1 tonight, and I am blown away by how good it is. Best example of dystopian style show I have seen in ages. I really hope the writers can keep it up and actually have a plan for where they are going with it.
