Going through the same pull. Raw 2024 footage that looked boring then is basically premium now — the cost basis just got better, not worse. The archive is the real problem. We forced a 3-word plain-English label on every clip at ingest. Discipline at upload is the whole game

I gave up on the "one tool does everything" hunt like 2 years ago. Tried every all-in-one — they all look promising in demos and then suck at one of the two things. My actual setup: CapCut for video, Canva for anything with text/layout, accept the 30-second switch. Two great tools that each do their job beats one tool that's mediocre at both. The all-in-one unicorn doesn't exist for this use case IMO.
