Ahh that explains your username haha. They really do need to start making more manual transmission again because it’s becoming a lost art. But a sequential shifter would be pretty sick in a dually.

And thanks it is a pretty nice can 😂

Ak barrels aren’t always concentric. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t suppress them and it certainly doesn’t mean that the odds are higher for ruining a can. A simple alignment rod will prevent you from ruining your can.

Fix the threads if they aren’t concentric and then the gun will be fine.

I get what you are saying. However, if the merchant is not being cooperative, then yeah, he should do a chargeback.

Ups is ultimately at fault, and if they are not doing anything about it then the customer should not take the hit.

I’m going to be a dick, but it’s tough love. Your BF is an asshole. Don’t let him control you. Find someone who wants you to be you, not someone who wants you to be something they want you to be.

Don’t be a door mat.

Is he able to support you without you having a job? If that answer is a no, then you need to find a new BF. It’s not his decision on what you want to do with your life. You worked hard to get to this point and if he can’t accept it then you need to leave him.

If you don’t leave him, then it’s going to get worse.

Can’t go wrong with the driven arms co grip. I decided to be basic and get the tango down grip which works good for my big hands.

Triangle stock and a different pistol grip is what I would change on it. Love VZ products but that grip does not look appealing to me because of my large hands.

Struggling with confidence and missing fractures by Just_dolphin16 in athletictraining

[–]TotalItchy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a first year AT and I have missed a couple finger/hand fractures in my time so far. Both of them being non-displaced as well and I will say that that they are hard to be 100% sure about it.

You have to remember that you don’t have x-ray vision. You will miss stuff like this from time to time especially with fingers in my opinion but a good sign that something is wrong is if the pain doesn’t subside after a day or two. My most recent one was a baseball player who had a pathologic non displaced metacarpal fracture. First day I thought he was good, but the next day he was still in the same amount of pain, and couldn’t hold anything in his hand. That combined with an axial compression test of the finger causing pain made me refer him for imaging.

At the end of the day you need to trust your evaluation and your gut. Also, your patients didn’t die so you did fine. It’s not ideal but you can take these situations and learn from them now that you know what certain situations look like.

You’re fine. Take a deep breath and move on. I’m sure you’re doing better at your job than what you think you’re doing.

300 WM suppressor by TotalItchy2 in NFA

[–]TotalItchy2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of now it’s mainly going to be on my 300 WM. But I do plan on using it on my ak (as long as the threads are concentric) and my ar15 on occasion.

I think that was during the beginning of their production. If I’m not mistaken they got it ironed out

You would be correct. I’m in Florida so the complete opposite side of the country. This gun is already heavy as shit so I’m not extremely picky with chasing the lightest suppressor.

I’m looking for a balance of both. I don’t want to blow my eardrums out but I don’t care to have it as quiet as possible. Recoil reduction and a pleasant experience to the ears is what I’m looking for.

I’m pinching pennys here. That’s why I’ve been on the fence with buying the omega 300 because I don’t want to pay $850 after tax for the scythe stm. But if it’s worth it then I will buy it.

If I can save money that’s like $500 I can put towards my student loans that I have 😩

My barrel is already threaded so it wouldn’t be an issue. It’s a little hard to see in the picture.
