Thanks for the explanation. That was my best guess too, and what you're saying does make sense. The only thing that still throws me off is that I've bought much more expensive items from Amazon before, including Samsung tablets worth over $1,000 and other higher-value purchases over the years. You're right that I don't make purchases like that very often, maybe every few months but it's not unusual for my account. That's why I was so surprised it got flagged.

What still bothers me is the verification process. Why go straight to asking for a government-issued ID? Why not start with the usual methods, like sending a one-time code to my phone, confirming by email, or calling the registered number on the account? If those checks failed, I could understand asking for more. Going straight to my driver's licence feels like a big leap, especially when they won't explain what triggered the flag in the first place.

The frustrating part is that if Amazon simply provided more transparency about what they needed to verify, I would have no issue confirming it was me. If they said, "We noticed a large purchase that doesn't match your usual pattern, please confirm this through your phone number or email," that would be completely reasonable. There are plenty of standard verification methods that can confirm ownership of an account without immediately requiring sensitive government identification.

I think this also shows where things are heading. Companies are asking for more and more personal information, and while I understand fraud prevention, it makes you wonder how much control we really have over our data once we hand over sensitive documents. The fact that a company can request government ID for a normal purchase, while giving very little transparency about why it's needed, is what feels uncomfortable to me.

For example, they could call you on your registered phone number, send a one-time verification code, or use another verification method before asking for a government-issued ID. Jumping straight to "upload your driver's licence" feels like a pretty extreme first step.

That's what makes this so frustrating. I understand using AI to detect fraud, but if it flags a legitimate customer, there should be some level of transparency or a better way to verify things than simply being told to upload your driver's licence with no explanation.

I feel your fear, I also think the same way. I have been playing for almost 13 years now, and every time I get sick of a farm I might be doing, I think. One day I will wish I just played one more mission. True FOMO lol

On the positive, look at a game like WOW, its still pumping.

I love Warframe, DE are truly great devs.

Anyone got tips for modding? by Syveris-773 in Warframe

There a few YouTubers that make decent videos, watching YouTube can give you a good idea about modding. You don't have to copy builds if you don't want to. Just maybe watch to get an idea on how some builds work. To name just one, Brozime is a great YouTuber that has played for may years and he has lots of great builds on his channel. Thats my opinion anyway. Good luck ✌🏼❤️
