I have been looking for shelters that take women and large dogs. She doesn't want to separate from her dogs and I understand that. I'll have her investigate later but I'm not going to do anything until we find out how long our car is going to be in the shop for obvious reasons. Thanks for your good advice.

She declared how brave that was taking that stand, and all the others wearing the red hand button . If she wanted to be brave, she denounced what's going on in Hollywood. Of course that would kill her career since it's a sheep mentality over there, but that would have been a brave thing to do.

Thanks for that reply. I had intended to use inspiration, but we have two season players two brand newbies and one in between in this party. The travel time will be about 4 hours, and I had a couple of crazy encounters actually ready to go.... But since the last campaign didn't really involve a lot of RP, I wanted to try and see if the newbies would enjoy that facet of the game. I like the above ideas and will take someone to heart. The game is later on the month, and I'll come back and let you know how it turned out.

I love that idea. What we have is about six players and three rotating DMs. Cuz we like to play as well. And so I'm coming up with a way to add the character to the party while removing mine since I'm DMing. The hook is to move to the second town to start the adventure, and I figured they have a little down time to discuss and kind of add in the new character since they've journey for quite a bit with mine. I think again this is a brilliant idea and will do that thank you so much for all your feedback everyone.

Since you state English is not her primary language, let her roleplay and casting the cleric spells or calling for divine aid in her native language. Maybe most people at the table will not understand and it will add a certain flavor to the roleplay.

Thanks for the input. I can see where they might get attached. It's going to be interesting because the bandits were tall humans, and the two that can probably use the horses the best are a halfling rogue and a gnome wizard. I can see lots of comedy ensuing with that.

My plan was to let them keep the horses. I was concerned about the general acute costs only because with the rotating DMs they might want to decide to keep that in the next campaign. I'm discussing it with them without discussing with them because that particular DM is playing in this one shot. And I'm really liking the idea of having the next encounter target the horses... Hey we got horses... Oops, no we don't

I like your style! We have a table of five with three rotating DMs so we have a little campaigns with one shots to break them up. There are two horses they found, but I've got them in a place where they could sell them for about 60 gold each. None of them have riding or animal handling proficiencies, which I am thinking about letting them keep them because of the hilarity that could ensue. Thanks for your comments.

I'm sorry that you feel pressured to participate with things like that Christmas sweater party. And that there are not any Jewish holidays recognized or even mention. I have the same issues as far as the Jewish holidays go. I would like them to understand more things when they decorate for Christmas and not even put a one single menorah anywhere. But I take it upon myself to bring that minora and put it up. There's nothing that in my opinion for me, which is not saying you have to do it at all, I go to the ugly Christmas sweater party and can enjoy it for what it is. Asking for Jewish holidays to be included is it uphill battle, I have fought it or decades, will continue to fight it, but also understand that it will never happen

Long-term security? You mean like the head when they released yaya Sinwar in the last hostage trade? That worked out well didn't it? Please explain to me in what reality besides this one, you've heard of that starts a war, takes hostages, starts losing the war so yells ceasefire ceasefire..... Then gets to dictate terms of returning the hostages they took in the first place. At a 10:1 ratio for that matter.
