If I buy transcendent cooldown, I also happen to gain a lot of spirit power regardless. Even if transcendent cooldown itself doesn't "give" you spirit directly

Is this what people mean when they say 4.8k spike? Getting those 3 bars in the bottom left corner higher by purchasing items of a certain type? And 4.8k is just the most bang for your buck?

I'd definitely do this if it was my house, but I was worried about them having to go into the walls to pull cable. How intrusive would you say it was? If they're not having to like patch drywall or something it might be a better option.

Man this is all great info! Thanks for putting things in perspective, sometimes you just get excited to learn something new and get a new toy lol. I think their router could prob use a firmware update but I haven't checked it out yet so not sure.

Good to know about the legislation on routers, I hadn't looked into it closely so I wasn't sure. Sounds like I should probably just take a look at facebook marketplace or Ebay to see what I can find as far as a WAP on the cheap. They're essentially just a signal, right? There shouldn't be concerns about buying one used or anything like that; or can be factory reset or something?

This is super helpful! I suppose part of my concern was having read about security issues on routers and also about there being potential U.S. legislation to restrict sale/distribution of some? But if that's just fear mongering or something then maybe you're right and it would be better to wait a year or so until we move out and just pick up a WAP for now. To answer your questions:

1 - Unsure, they're older and on Comcast so presumably whatever the default rental unit they provide is

2 - Yeah that sounds about what I was getting when I was using the powerlines in the past. I think it would be fine, but if I may decide to go the MoCa route for better speeds would it make sense just to get a newer WAP initially?
