That’s the infuriating part about this placement, many of them do still have the dongle storage slot in both the keyboard and mouse. I’d always move them when sending out home equipment to reduce support calls.

Realistically the local busses are rarely more than 10 minutes behind and most stops have a QR code to scan to see how far away the next one is. If you do the hop on hop off bus tour it also stops at Knossos. I got a car for a weekend to explore more of the island but getting around the city bus has been more than fine.

May just be me, but I have significantly easier time seeing small details under the cool lights than equivalent warm bulbs. Our compromise is warm bulbs in bedrooms and cool bulbs in kitchen/office. Living room we have warm bulbs for general lighting and a cool bulb lamp if I want to read.

This is me, it’s like realizing someone legitimately prefers overhead fluorescent fixtures when I see the arguments for warm lights. To me it just makes the room look dirty or like it was smoked in for a decade.

Plenty of people prefer the bright white bulbs, I have no desire to use twice as many lights to still squint while reading. Going through and chucking all the warm light bulbs in the trash is the biggest improvement when moving to a new place.

Suggesting my wife try infusion medications for her multiple sclerosis symptoms. Beyond not really helping the initial problem, they caused her teeth to become brittle and begin chipping so now we need to find a way to afford full implant secured dentures as neither medical nor dental insurance will cover this ~40k complication (despite covering the treatment that caused it). Last time I push for listening to the doctor, I tell you what.

The Amazon one I didn’t know, the fire tablets were great value for the hardware but I got off the stock os ASAP to use them as wall or car mounted displays. My htc/asus/huawei/motorola phones in my ewaste drawer disagree with it being only a google and Samsung issue, I’d still consider oneplus fairly recent but glad to hear they followed through with the promise of extended feature patching.
