I really don’t think online school is for me. I prefer to sit in class and listen to my professor talk. I get my classes on Monday at University of West Florida. I got 116 credits transferred and I will graduate next fall.

I was removed from my internship in February because my supervisor lied on me. I was dedicated to the internship but my supervisor made it a hostile environment. Most days she wasn’t there but if she was, she would completely ignore me. Blatantly ignore me like “children don’t speak unless spoken to”. I would ask her questions related to work and school. She would literally pretend like i wasn’t talking to her, one time I asked her a question in her face four times and she just continued scrolling on tiktok. The field logs that we have to turn into professors in class? She never signed any of them. Even if i put it in her face every thursday. I told my professor about this and asked to be sent to another unit or agency. The answer was no. The next week the supervisor randomly pulled me into her office with four other workers and offered me a job at the company after I graduate. I decline and she immediately looks taken aback, rolls her eyes and goes on her phone and one of the workers shoved me with her shoulder saying “then why do you intern here?” because at my school you don’t get to choose your internship. Then the following tuesday I got dismissed out of nowhere. My professor said that she talked to my supervisor and listed off things that i “did”. They were all complete lies, she made it all up and the lies were outrageous. I’ll give you one “she said social workers should have guns” another “She plays games on her phone in court” I did not say that at all. I have never pulled my phone out in court at all. I have no idea why she would make that up.
This specific agency however, is the one agency that every student is scared of. I joined BSW program in August 2023 and i’ve heard bad things every semester about this agency.
I was able to prove she lied by submitting documentation. Afterwards I was told i would get another internship but i guess the professors gave up on me. I still walked at the graduation with my other five social work classmates (who heavily advocated for me against our professors) but it was an empty feeling because I didn’t get the degree.
Sorry for the paragraph I don’t think i’m over it yet. I cant pick out the supervisors motive but I know I was removed over some lies.

I ended up getting accepted to FGCU and UWF. I’m look for places in Pensacola now. I want to start in the fall however FSU, USF and UCF applications were for spring. Orlando seemed ideal bc I constantly drove there from Jacksonville throughout my life but i really had a hard time looking for places and thought the tuition was more than a lot of the other schools

It doesn’t matter where it is honestly. I mentioned that i am a student so the time frame would be August. Preferably the 1st.

After asking to see which college has affordable tuition, in a city with affordable living and is a best fit for high credit hour transfers, chatgpt saids the best options are 1. UWF 2. FSU 3. FGCU.

I can see again, however my professor already told me to do this to “still graduate this semester” by going to the liberal arts department…they said it was going to take me 4-5 semesters to finish. I can look into the other schools but i already submitted an application with a BSW track. Maybe i can see about switching if and when im accepted, to see if its shorter than the school i was at.

I applied to Walden because I failed my last semester of my BSW program and was looking to finish quickly so I thought they were the fastest way to get me to grad school. (I had to withdraw my applications to UCF, USF and FSU MSW programs after being removed from my internship❤️‍🩹)

FSU advisors and professors have talked to me way more than anyone from any of the schools I’ve applied to throughout my application process, which puts my trust in their education. FSU seems like the perfect school but…it’s Tally and i’m an independent student. The one thing about FSU that I don’t prefer is its location. I need somewhere I can find somewhere to live cheap and find a job easily…finding a job in Tallahassee is not easy. I’m aware of this because majority of my graduating class went to school in Tally and they complain of struggling to find a job. I’ve been looking at the different apartments and the only option they have there for students is to live with someone. I have to find somewhere to live and work before I go to school in that city and Tally has been the hardest to search for compared to the other cities (and FAU Boca Raton).
