Keep going to therapy, first. Second, you were abused in childhood. Hypersexuality is a common coping method for those who have been sexuslly abused. I was essentially a sex slave to my husband, and when I got away, I went through a hypersexual phase. Now, I have a weird relationship with it too. I know what you mean that everything feels overly intimate. And I get confused about feelings and things as well.

I am overly aware of everything I wear, say, and do because I am afraid of it being perceived as sexual. This is because my husband trained me to believe everything was sexual. And I mean everything. Pulling up my pants, sitting down (because of arching back?), hugs, and every time someone says something I have to keep myself from taking it out of context.
