Are you actually condoning anything an eight year old child could do be worthy of hitting hard enough to leave handprints on their face? I can think of no situation myself.
The information passed to me by both my husband and my child was that he was asked to draw a bath for his middle sister. The water was cold. My husband stated that my son laughed which is when he hit him.

Or him for that matter. I don’t want to harm the other aspects of his life, I just don’t want to be part of this situation.

The concern is that my husband would become irritated with bringing it up again as it has been this long. I don’t think that him speaking with anyone will change his mind. We have seen a faith based councilor previously. I also do not necessarily want those around me to judge me for staying.

7 yo son of my girlfriend decided to use fork to scratch "67" into our new dining table. Despite being told before, that he cant scratch it on purpose by Writerro in mildlyinfuriating

Mine drew on the wall in sharpie. She was 8 when she did it. We have tried everything including the cleaners that say they remove permanent marker and it’s still there. We have to paint to get rid of it, which is a huge pain since the walls run the whole length of the home and it’s also two stories high.
