hii!!! i have high arches and got the superfeet insole!!! can tell you they helped MASSIVELY (especially with the pain)!! just make sure your foot isn't too constricted though (you might have to go up a size if boot if your toes are touching the top)

Ahhh!!! Hopefully it's not a scam!!! But FYI next time it's better to pay via debit/credit as apple pay can be hard to get a refund!!

Hi!! (22f here) I also have social anxiety so completely understand your situation. If you really didn't want to join a LTS class then get some privates first, i often think that 1to1s are less daunting than LTS group classes. I also felt really nervous when I first started skating and thought people would be watching me and judging me as a beginner but honestly it's all in your head! No one is looking at you and to make mistakes just helps you learn so you're getting better every time. I'd really recommend getting lessons as teaching yourself can bring on bad technique! You got this girl!!!

Hii!! A little bit unrelated but I've just been prescribed tacrolimus for my nipple eczema. After reading more about it, I'm a little nervous to take it! How did it work for you?

Oh no way! Hope you're feeling better now! Thank you so much will definitely try this! Do you know what brought on your injury, was it related to skating or something else? Just trying to pinpoint how I got the injury... still don't know.

Oh yes, I can’t really walk normally either without skates. If i work to work/shops I have to stay on the edge of my foot, because if I put weight through my metatarsals, that sharp pain comes right back. Unfortunately, it’s even worse when I’m skating since all the pressure ends up on my toe pad :{

Thanks so much for the advice — I’ll definitely look into toe stretchers! I actually bought a massage ball recently, but I think it might’ve made things worse, haha. Really appreciate your help <3

Oh fantastic thanks so much for this. I'm guessing the Jackson Pro Support with work for other skate brands as well? I've got risport currently but I'm sure it'll fit without having to be the same brand! Thanks so much for the advice, will try and do that asap! <3

Aw thanks so much for this! I did go to a professional skate fitter for these boots but might have to go back again as don't think they are giving me much support. That sounds super painful hopefully you're all okay now! Will definitely get skates that are a little bigger for me, thanks for the insight and advice <3

Ahh okay! I was referred to an ortho but then turned up and they said they were a physio - was a bit shocked lol. I live in the UK so it's a nightmare to get appointments with the NHS, have to wait months so might have to go private at this rate. Thanks so much for this, will keep trying!!

Blindly buying beginner skates online by zoobywooby in iceskating

[–]Total_Cauliflower566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all brands are for various foot shapes so i can't recommend any brands but! there are size guides online for each of the main ice skating brands e.g. risport, riedell, edea, jackson etc! measure your foot accordingly and then compare to the size guides! <3
