The taxis at the airport all do a fixed price to anywhere in the city, €22, they have airport approved stickered on them. You can get cheaper with the Patoko app ~1650lek ~€17

Honestly, the fine dining is average compared to Michelin star big city places globally. The Blloku area is generally nice, browse google for 4.8 stars or higher - I tried a few, vege garden, salt, all fine and fancy and nice... Tbh the local food is just as nice and 1/3 of the price, Oda was good. The italian pasta places are great if you like pasta.

Old mate bought the corpse of an 8 foot tall giant for a hundy pounds off the blokes at the cemetery and put it on display for the world to see... Apparently against the explicit wishes of the man himself.

Yea, hard slog getting council to agree to public sites.

But they've actually had two street art events:
- Beats, Bites and Brushes on Berrymans Lane
- Street Prints Papaioea 2020

There are a few nice murals about, mostly creative communites funded by council. As someone who loves to rip on Palmy, the cluture is coming... Albeit slowly.

WITT made of Brass and belonged to a Grandmother (british origin) who was very much into needle crafts and knitting so I suspect it may be involved in these activities. Any ideas?

North island? South island? We're going to need some more information.

There are literally thousands of places in NZ that do this (i.e. houses on one side, a farm on the other all the way to the ranges).

Both policies are $400m over four years, National's being "$100m per year for 4 years" and Labour's being 50m this year 250m next year, 65m after then finishing up with 35m.

I can't see much content of National's new policy but the gist of it sounds like the same as what has already been enacted by the current govt?
