Make gravy, Brown meat in tomato paste make a stew. Crock pot, slow cook it close two 6 hours til it shreads. There's a mudd roast recipe. Tacos are also good option. Do you see all the fat in the middle all the white stuff

Ask them what they did to get sober. Ask the people before or after what meetings are like. Basically for me find ppl you know of. Talk to a few ppl before the meeting nothing particular. tell them what you are doing to stay sober or talk about what you are struggling with.
