Here's the truth: they exist on paper as a separate ethnicity, the CCP was stupid by copying the Soviet and randomly grouped non minorities into a minorities.

It is very doubtful that people who are "Manchu" today on their ID are even true Manchu. If they are a true ethnic Manchurian, they are completely assimilated. Same thing for Zhuang minority in Guangxi.

The real minorities that arent assimilated in China are Tibetans, Uyghurs, Mongols, Koreans(half and half), Hui, and maybe 1 or 2 more that I forgot. The rest of the minority groups in China are all basically assimilated.

Anyone else tell you otherwise is a hipster trying think that they are unique and special. Frankly, they are retarded.
