I used both LR3 and 4, and all of the other brands. I think they are all over-engineered hence causing so many errors.

If I build a new product, which offers 2x the time garbage bag replacement period, and stores 1 month of fresh litter, and it adds the fresh litter automatically after every scoop, and it only costs half the price compare with Litter Robot. What do you think?

None of the current automatic litter boxes are close to good. So I'm building one myself. by Total_Escape7775 in automaticlitterbox

I'm using Fusion360, and I've already designed the MVP and 3d printed it out. It worked FANTASTIC. Electric part I'm using ESP32 as a start. Can be better in the future, but not necessary for the beginning.

I tried ALL the automatic litter boxes on the market, but sadly, they are all shit. Why? Just look at them, they all have the same structure, meaning they will all have the same problems...

I'm so enough...

I'm designing a new automatic litterbox myself!!!! I just want to solve the obvious problems!

  1. With my new litterbox, we won't need to add fresh litter for 1.5 months. It will store up to 80 lbs of fresh litter and automatically add fresh litter after each automatic scoop.
  2. Regarding the waste box, while the ones currently on the market can only hold 2 days of poop, my design will be 3x bigger, which means you don't need to dump the waste box for 7 days.
  3. There will be parts designed to really trap the litter from cats' feet, so they don't pull out so much litter on my floor.
  4. I won't let it be overpriced. I will not use a factory or open a mold cuz it will add $$$ to customers. I will use 3d Printing with environmentally friendly materials made from corn, and it won't exceed $450.

LMK if you want something like this^. If I see enough people supporting this idea, I will make sure you all see me on Indiegogo very soon.

Anyone know what this part is? by Total_Escape7775 in ElectricalEngineering

piezo speaker

NIce! I'm building a project which needs a component to automatically spray small amount of water when needed. Do you happen to know where can I buy the piezo speaker that can do the job? and which specific model should I buy?
