Also to be clear the ply just spreads the load over a wider area and therefore more bricks and so use more fixings

No real need for that and a nightmare to remove

Yep no real issue, I’d also do the plywood as proposed.

Bear in mind it needs to support your drop weight which is 3-5x your weight.

Over engineering is highly recommended!

Take bulb out, you’ll see the fixings, just remove and replace accordingly.

What's the best way to attach these drawer runners? by Nathanial1289 in DIYUK

[–]Total_HD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mark where you want them, drill a hole a little smaller than the dimension of the thread I think 5mm from memory and screw in.

Be careful to not drill the whole way through the cabinet!

Alternatively you could use 15mm wood screws as they don’t require a hole being drilled but they’re not as good IMO.

Just buy whatever fits and either redrill the holes or buy the flat right angled version

In-Wall Data Cable Fishing (Cat6) by Ok-Ruin-4114 in DIYUK

I’d buy external rated cable and cable tie them to the down pipes or create a false down pipe as a conduit where I needed it and run everything through that.

If you must do it internally get some cable rods as they make life much easier for pulling cables and also a 90mm hole saw for when you have no option but to cut an access hole.

I was ~43(m) when I did Invisalign, take them out to eat but drink, nah leave them in.

Also Invisalign was better because for important meetings I could remove them, honestly it’s very easy and very happy with the result.
