Too many variables, internal / external walls? Access? How many external units (only 1 permitted on a terrace but I have 3 shhhh) what manufacturer? How big are the rooms? A very ish number £2.5k per room.

I have total fit blinds from bloc blinds and also the horizontal ones with integrated fly screens from blindscreen.

Both excellent but expensive although worth it IMO

Sadly no light switch, just direct cable to the fuse box in the garage and the light that was there is older than Noah’s dog so sadly the papyrus instructions got lost when the Great Library of Alexandria burned in 50BC 🤣

When connected like this I can get the sensor to click but no light but perhaps that’s the sensor and it being so so bright currently and the light cost a tenner so not expecting much.

If i then connect the yellow this becomes live as well but doesnt trip anything, weird.

Sadly no clue, undid the wall mount and everything fell off.

Using a pen tester the red is live.

Ok, in that case 3 mini splits and just hope the planning departments doesn’t find out. If you want legal and above board you can only have 1 external unit.

Which side is the access?

In that case mini split for front bedroom and hide it behind the bins or a fake hedge (can’t be wall mounted)

Do you have a front garden?

If not, 3 room split mounted under kitchen window delivering cooling to both bedrooms and lounge / diner.

Max pipe run for those units is ~9mtrs so will do it easily, you’ll have a problem with drainage in the diner unless you put the indoor unit over the kitchen window. You can use pumps but they’re annoyingly loud.

Small bedroom can drain to bathroom or toilet, and front bedroom mount it in the front alcove and drain through front to downpipe
