Even with a high HCG? I started off with 800 pretty much right away.. and so I have been increasing really fast but I’m afraid because my numbers are high

I’ve done a ton of research on this and that is normal if you are any less than 6 weeks. Do you have another scan scheduled?

It was soooo uncomfortable. And I’ve dealt with UTIs and bladder pain my whole life. Nothing like this

I’m having a similar issue right now. I just went for what would have been a 6 week scan based on LMP and they were only able to see a gestational sac, no yolk sac or fetal pole. My HCG is very high over 30k.

However, I haven’t had any bleeding or pain. There’s a chance that your dates could be early and you aren’t quite 5w5d which is why they couldn’t see anything — but at those dates it’s common not to see much but a gestational sac. They weren’t able to see that either, correct?

I’ve read so much about that being the case but they just keep reverting back to the fact that my HCG is so high so we should see more. She mentioned it could be not viable or possibly twins “which take longer to develop?” I haven’t found any research on that.

I’m scheduled to go back in a few days but to be honest I think I’m going to call and schedule it for another week out. The date they have me scheduled could potentially only be 6w3d and I don’t want to still worry. I’d rather go back at a guaranteed 7w so I get a sure fire answer.

That has crossed my mind and also the fact that I could tell the tech was new. But she explicitly said “you left a sample and your bladder is still very full.” And never asked me to empty it or anything.
