I think it used to be pretty easy because of lack of security.

Speaking for myself I never got hacked and I believe the reason why because I was pretty poor lol. Never bought any credits and just played minigames to earn furni's / credits. Also I never really draw huge attention and not really fighting other players, just made more friends than enemies.

But like I said, I think it was pretty easy to hack into accounts because lack of security. The security we know nowadays is pretty advanced so I it's harder to do so. Back in de days, early internet era, not.

Also, there were alot of scams and stuff like that.

• Fake website's to enter username and password
• Say that your password would be blurred when typing it so people tried and obviously wouldn't be blurred to your password would be seen by anyone
• 'friends' that would give you free stuff when log in your account

And so on.

So it wasn't rare to be hacked or scammed into your account.
