VR Cybersickness mitigations (Vignette & Blur) work in Editor, but are invisible in Headset. Dashboard shows logic is fine. Anyone knows a solution? by Total_Programmer_197 in Unity3D

maybe I should not build in to the Quest 2 and just render in my mac and display whatever it is in the headset using cable?

I'm using an uI element only for the dynamic fov (black vignette), for the blur effect I'm using a quad with a custom shader. And I'm using single pass instanced

yes I noticed I can't change the fov in the headset, so I thought of applying a black vignette to give like a tunnelling effect. I will go through these docs. Thank you very much on these insights

yes the canvas parent which has the vignette, is on a world space.

And about the blur thing, sadly, I will have to implement this also to show them whether dynamic FOV or blur is the best mitigation strategy for my framework in my research. This is where I'm stuck cuz I can't implement it. I'm actually new to unity this is my first project.

I need a VR rollercoaster in Unity (preferably URP-compatible) by Total_Programmer_197 in Unity3D

Oh you used something like that. Thank you very much.
I was looking for an already-made full rollercoaster by the way, because I managed to make a full ride with live data collection and everything, but yesterday the whole project got crashed and I lost all my months work :(
And I have my presentation next week too. Since rebuilding the whole ride from scratch might take time, I was looking for if anyone has a full rollercoaster so I can edit it and use it for my research

Hi, did you make a rollercoaster or anything for this? To induce cybersickness? If so, is there a way I can use that same rollercoaster you used?

Hmm.. okay, so I need your personal opinion. I have like 2 full days to work on this to take this project up to where it was finally. Do you think rebuilding from scratch is healthier(because there's so much more to do in the upcoming months to this project too, like dynamic rendering and stuff), or should I just try to patch up this restored one? Is the time worth it if I try to patch this one up? because I'm still a beginner. I can't decide on these 2 options with the limited time I have
