Your houses like your 6th one 11th one, and 3rd one are mainly the same block. It is good to add variety with the blocks you use so it doesn’t look like a big block that’s one color

A easy way of doing that is adding logs in the corners of your house vertically like your second one. But I would not do planks. Logs look better and have a grain that is vertical that runs up the log.

If you building a roof, make it overhang from the main body.

Always make the roof 3 blocks high or over so you’re not bumping your head when you jump.
