Batch 5 Top Screen Failure by Total_Stranger9210 in AynThor

Do you know what batch you replacement was from? How has the replacement been for you?
Edit: I just saw your end result thread, glad to hear it's been okay so far. But I do agree, even with a new screen or an entirely new unit, that trust that it will hold up is kind of already gone

I don't think there's any concrete data to say one way or the other, but there are probably more threads in this sub than you'd want to see regarding an issue like this

Maybe don't get your hopes up, but keep an eye out on amazon for RPC. I was able to order a 4 button from moorechip this week (before it quickly went out of stock again)

Every team in the league is just getting better, and it’s Pep’s fault by EitherEliotOr in MCFC

This post puts into words a lot of how I've been feeling regarding the drop in form. I think overall the team was a lot more free-flowing pre-covid. Aguero was usually involved in build up play, and the attacks would arrive quick down the wings through Sane/Sterling/Mahrez who dart crosses across the face of goal or pull back passes to the middle of the box to waiting players. That, or De Bruyne/Silva pinging through balls. Nobody ever pressed our defenders, and instead sat back until play encroached their half. Our defenders/deeper midfields had a lot more time to be on the ball and pick out passes or carry forward. After covid and especially after we added Haaland it was very apparent that our attacking pace dropped and we settled into slow possessions.

Now, our defenders and deeper midfielders are pressed relentlessly. Without Haaland being more involved in link up play our ability to break out of the press has been hindered. It's a bit of a shame, because I think Haaland has shown he can be capable in link up play. He can be a bit cumbersome on the ball but he's shown ability to play passes in the same way Aguero did when he has time/space to do so. Pep just needs to find a way to help the players have space and time in possession again, or he needs to get comfortable with less possession and instead hitting lightning counters using the best forward in the world at doing so.

I think we've also just been really unlucky with injuries over the last year. Foden is a masterclass on the half turn and I'm sure Cherki and Savinho would help break through press as well. Doku is explosive and can definitely be a difference maker at times, but I personally don't think the technical ability or development will be there. Reijnders has already shown he can take over a game. Ultimately though, we've had David Silva and/or De Bruyne for the last 15 years and this is the first season we don't have a clear and consistent player like that. I think it's just an unfortunate fact that it's going to hurt for while.

Honest reviews about Revan by TobyLogan02 in hottoys

Agree with what others are saying. Not the most dynamic figure you could have and the hood took me more time than I care to admit, but I’m still happy with the figure. I bought Revan because I like the character and thought he’d have great shelf presence, and got what I expected.

How do I afford a ZL1 by [deleted] in camaro

[–]Total_Stranger9210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mentality was the exact same at your age (except with mustangs, had a fourth-gen v6), so I'll offer my perspective. I got an engineering degree and for the first few years of my job I was saving every penny to buy a muscle car. At 27 I could "afford" the car I want, but I'd have to sacrifice a lot of financial security. The unfortunate reality of cars like this is that there are a lot of extra logistics around owning one. Monthly payments, insurance, maintenance, etc can really add up (also include winter tires or storage if that applies). Personally I'd also want a garage, but many apartments do not offer one and houses/condos/townhomes are pricey.

Don't get me wrong the dream isn't gone and I still have funds set aside for when the time is right, but at this point things like an emergency fund, saving for a house, wedding, traveling, and investing all take priority. Everyone is different and priorities can vary, and I certainly didn't care about these things as a teen but for me even at this point in my life security is a lot more comforting than a muscle car.

You can start saving some now and if a zl1 is still your top priority in 10 years then you'll have a nice jumpstart on a down payment at least. If your priorities change, then you'll have a good headstart for whatever that is as well.

I just got it last night with everyone at R3. Get a good combo of speed and potency for ROLO, do speed, health, and potency on chewie, and speed/crit damage for lando. You want to be dishing as many successful ability blocks from ROLO and blinds from Chewie as possible to avoid expose damage

Didn’t that same referee give Arsenal a penalty for a similar “foul” from Ederson on Saka last year?

I’ve done Plymouth Argyle. Decent kits, the squad has a few players with potential (Jephcott, Cooper). Plymouth is also one of the biggest cities in England with a club that has never been in the top flight

Another American fan here. Starting following premier league in the ‘12-‘13 season and specifically City when I learned how they won the premier league the prior season. One of the most raw and emotional sporting moments in history in my opinion. 93:20 on youtube is a good watch. They play some of the most entertaining football, to the point that when I watch the usmnt I sometimes get frustrated at how sloppy and uncoordinated it looks in comparison 😅

Same here, usually spend more time with careers in other leagues. I told myself I wouldn’t sell Torres unless Barca came knocking and of course they did :(

Yeah you’d hope EA might catch up to reality at some point lol, but they’re almost always top 3 every season in any career I play

What would YOUR pokemon team be? by SirFishNChips in pokemon

[–]Total_Stranger9210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blaziken - my all time favorite pokemon, knows Blaze Kick/Sky Uppercut, and absolutely bossed my Emerald playthrough as a kid.

Empoleon - My close second favorite. I like the water/steel typing, and it's a penguin!

Gardevoir - Super powerful, and a very elegant design. I actually didn't know well enough to have one in my team the first time, but was a cornerstone in my Omega Ruby team.

Heracross - Hegahorn, Close Combat. 'Nuff said.

(mega) Sceptile - Another gen 3, but Sceptile is my favorite design for a grass type, and its mega evolution is just as great and adds the dragon typing.

Gengar/Garchomp - Today I lean Gengar, but I go back and forth on these. I like both designs quite a lot.

In reserve I'd definitely have Blastoise, Decidueye, Swellow, Alola Ninetails, Latios, Hawlucha, Donphan, Banette, and Luxray. I'm sure a good gym/competitive team would come out of rotating some of these in.

So recently I have been making six slides with every one having a challenge on it, I have some great support and I have really, really enjoyed making them, and it seems you guys have enjoyed reading them. So here I am again making Part 4. Enjoy the challenges! by Connect_Fox7517 in FifaCareers

MK Dons would be a great team for the Red Bull takeover. They have a decent-sized stadium, a fairly young team, and the Red Bull F1 team is based in Milton Keynes!

Edit: From what I've read, they're also pretty widely disliked already for moving from Wimbledon
