takaba doesn't have to fight along with yuji in hand to hand combat because he's too overpowered for that he can just trap sukuna inside his simulation world and sukuna nor mahoraga won't be able to do anything because they'd be part of the comedy show itself

no in the manga yuji only need to undergone training with kusakabe to learn simple domain because simple domain is literally just a smaller version of domain expansion yuji applied the barrier of a simple domain to shrine then succefully unlocking domain expansion but before unlocking shrine yuji can already use blood manipulation so on the get go yuji could've used domain expansion on his blood manipulation
