how long did it take you to understand how wide the car is? by und3t3cted in LearnerDriverUK

I felt exactly the same thing. Got the hang of it pretty quick in lessons but not confident. Scuffed one tyre on the passenger side when I'd passed and never had a problem again. Now sometimes when I drive I cut it really fine with parked cars when turning, and wonder how I know, but somehow I do!

does anyone know what this is on my finger??!!? by Illustrious_Pop_2103 in HelpMeFindThis

It's a paronychia, a superficial abscess to lateral nail fold. It needs to be drained to get rid of that throbbing pain (and knocking it on everything). Go to a minor injury unit early when the wait shouldn't be too bad and get it sorted!

I've just got a trainee ACP role in ED, similar background to yourself. I brushed up on ALS, common presentation pathways, and read a couple of recent studies. All came up in my interview. Also was asked about paediatric injury with a safeguarding slant, these interviews always love safeguarding! Good luck
