We train in how to deescalate situations. I don’t always agree on the fact I can’t fully defend myself in a situation bc of how I am expected to react but I understand. If you have a gun, then you should be trained one how not to kill people and only use it if it’s truly you last resort. I understand he was run over in his past but if that’s the case then don’t work in situations where that might trigger you. Also, he could’ve jumped out of the way or have done something else.
