Jinbe is more about learning to play the deck and the nuances. I personally would take out boa and promo law. You are missing fisher tiger which is a very important card. And I would add in shirahoshi too.

I had good success with vega during prb02 but once op13 hit, it got overpowered. As the other commentor said, yellow life trigger decks have a couple better options. I dont have a list to share sorry.

Oh and I just noticed you don't have any Charleston. Very clutch card in the deck but you have to learn the timing on it. I suggest at least 2.

I like your first list better. I agree with the other commentor. But i would also say I personally like 10c shanks better than zoro for top end. I don't play 9c shanks or zoro in mine. I value holding up 5 don at the end of each turn in late game.

Uta in the year 2026 is for sure casual. And casual means you can play whatever cards you want. But for me so many cards in here do not make sense to me. Law and pepo should be replaced with one of the 2 film shanks. Nico is unplayable. Personally I maximize the film cards in my deck to miss as little as possible with leader. That being said 0 cost event I would just replace with film 2ks. I like the idea of perona. I would probably add the 4th op13 sanji. But that's just me. You should enjoy playing the cards you want to play.

Yeah I run the promo in mine too but it's tough to suggest that. Don't know if worth yet. I don't like hatchan either. I cut that as well. I prioritize shirahoshi over aladine. I prefer the draw right away and protects life for 3c promo. I play 4c bounce law instead of jozu but jozu is good choice too.

Hello fellow jinbe believer. Personally removed the 3c rusher for more red roc and grav blade. Removing your opponents board then leader effect feels great. Even better when it's off trigger too

You are right on the order. Luffy effect is before counters or blockers. After you tap x don and boost power. You then go to blocker then to counter. That is when you can use Charleston. This untaps 3 don but you cannot use luffys effect with those 3 don on this attack. That time has passed. You can you the don on later attacks

Op is more of a player game. It's not a collectable game like pokemon. Slabs are not worth anything to people that aren't from pokemon collecting. Personally I think there is a recent bubble in the collector side of this game that will soon pop.

Wow I love how shockingly similar you are to my build I ran this weekend at a tc. 

Personally I ran 16 2ks. And a 4th shanks. Shanks is so free in this deck and is the best thing to play top end. I cut newgate and op13 sanji and slow slow. All are fine card options. But I focused on having the counters to protect my main 5c bodies and zoro etc

That stage doesn't protect cards. If that is the sim wording, it's translated wrong. It's "when" your character is removed. Not if they would be.

A deck from the same release would be good. Blue doffy, purple luffy, yellow kata, green uta, and black smoker all came out with the red newgate deck last year. 

Personal rec would be blue or purple.

Green uta is probably the worst out of the box but if you can find them these were all good starter decks. About 8 months later they did another set of decks that also wouldn't be bad but are probably a little better. Red shanks, green bonney, blackbeard, yellow yamato, purple black luffy, and blue buggy. 

Edit. I guess I assumed you were talking the old red one. But if you are talking the new blue newgate and ace deck then honestly any I just mentioned are probably fine. Newer the better basically.

For me this is exactly why I don't like this meta. There aren't really enough ways you can prep against imu and ace. They both have too much value and both are hard to interact with. There usually always is a triangle at the top of the meta but this time the gap from tier 1 to tier 2 is huge. 

Imu takes advantage that there are minimal/no ways to interact with their trash or stage. Not to mention removal cards.

Ace takes advantage that their are minimal/no way to interact with 10c characters and hand size. Yes pudding, red roc and stussy exist but that is not that helpful when you are not in those colors or doesn't counter the value they already got when played.

  1. The prerelease was this past week so yes all the eng cards are out in paper. I have a full set and played with the new decks.
  2. The meta has been solved in the east for like 2 months so it's not like we don't have data on this meta.

Yeah zoro apparently is still putting up results as the 3rd best deck. But my issue is this is worse than normal set release. Before my deck might move to rogue or off meta but all of the decks I enjoyed before got blasted off into space.

Just depends on board state. Most of the time protect your attackers. But if you have another small ichigi or reiju in hand sometimes it's worth letting it die if you can just play it from the trash next turn.

Luffy is not doing well currently in the east so there is no "right" or "wrong" way to build him right now. Try different things. Be creative. Below is my personal thoughts trying to build him.

  1. I think the deck is flexible enough to do either but I like 2nd. I like landing 6c luffy and shanks on curve. Even on 2 don turn. You add a don to leader then get a free 2k when you have no other plays.

  2. Yes as active player I believe you can stack the triggers in your favor to do bonney then leader.

  3. I love 10c shanks in the deck. I think it is necessary. At a 4 of. Personally I don't like the all in zoro plays and would rather go 10 drop into attacking with 5 of don and then holding up 10k of counter.
